Retrieving the Fortis User API Key via the User API Key URL

Your welcome email will include a set of keys for you to enter into your EHR to connect with Fortis. For your USER API Key, you will see a User API key URL. This is for security purposes.

Note: The User API URL link will expire 30 days from creation. If the link expires, a new link will need to be provided.

Please click on the URL, this should open the URL in your default browser.

Once you click “Submit” it will show your USER API Key, PLEASE BE SURE TO COPY THIS KEY before you navigate from this page. This is the only opportunity to copy this key. The User API Key needs to be entered into your EHR to connect your EHR and Fortis enabling your transactions to post back to the patient ledger.
