Interactive tutorial: Retrieving a User API Key via the User API Key URL
1. Welcome to this tutorial on Retrieving a User API Key via the User API Key URL.
2. Note
Your welcome email included a set of API Keys to enter into your EHR to connect it to the Gateway. However, for security reasons, the User API Key is not sent via email. The email contains a URL directing you to where you can retrieve the key.
**Please refer to your Welcome Email for instructions on adding the Fortis keys to your EHR.**
3. Start by navigating to the User API Key URL included in your welcome email.
4. Click Submit.
5. Note
This is the only time the User API Key will be fully displayed. If this key is lost, it cannot be retrieved, and a new one will have to be generated. It is highly recommended to copy and save this key value for future reference.
6. Copy the User API Key and paste it into your integration where required.
