If you are using a cellphone/tablet application set to have the batch automatically close, no additional action is needed.
If you are using a PAX A920 or A80 smart terminal you will need to ensure that at the time the batch is scheduled to run:
- The terminal is powered on
- The terminal is connected to Wi-Fi or is connected to data using cellular SIM card
- The BroadPOS payment application is running in the background
- Log into the SwipeSimple application
- Tap the Hamburger menu from the upper-left corner
- Select Current Batch from the menu
- Select the Close Batch option in the top right to close the batch
- Depending on your settings selection, the terminal may print out the batch reportĀ
