Generate a Location API ID

1. Welcome to this tutorial on Generating a Location API ID in the gateway.

2. Start by clicking Locations.

3. Note

If you have access to multiple locations, you can enter search terms in the Filter Boxes to help find the desired location.

4. Click the Location Name to open the details view.

5. Click Edit.

6. Scroll down to the Location API Id field.

7. Click the Generate button (two red arrows in a circle) to the right of the field heading.

8. Note
This is the only time the Location API Id will be fully displayed. If this ID is lost it cannot be retrieved and a new one will have to be generated. It is highly recommended to copy and save this ID value somewhere secure for future reference.

9. Once you are finished with the ID, scroll up and click Save.
