Run a Card Transaction in the Virtual Terminal

Create a One-time Keyed Card Transaction

1. Start by clicking Gateway.

2. Click Virtual Terminal.

3. Click the CC Payment Method.

4. Click the Transaction Type you want to create.

5. Enter the Transaction Amount.

Step 6 image

6. Enter the Card Holder Name.

Step 7 image

7. Enter the card number in the first Card Details field.

8. Enter the card expiration date in the second Card Details field.

9. Optional: If you want to create a Customer Wallet for this card, click the Save for Future Transactions checkbox.

10. Then enter a Wallet Title.

11. Optional: It is highly recommended to complete the Billing Information section. If you use the Account Verification Service (AVS), the address is required.

12. Enter the cardholder's Billing Address in the Street field.

13. Enter the City.

Step 14 image

14. Enter the two-letter State.

Step 15 image

15. Enter the ZIP Code.

16. Optional: Enter the cardholder's Phone number. 
Note: This is the number that will be used if you have SMS functionality enabled for invoices or receipts.

17. Click Process Transaction.

18. If the transaction is successful, a confirmation screen will open with options to Void the transaction, Print Receipt, or Email Receipt.

That's it. You're done!

Create a One-time Card Transaction Using a Customer Wallet

1. Start by clicking Gateway.

2. Click Virtual Terminal.

3. Click the CC Payment Method.

4. Click the Transaction Type you want to create.

5. Enter the Transaction Amount.

6. Click in the Select Customer field.

7. Start typing the Customer Name.

8. Click to select the correct Customer Wallet record.

9. Optional: Expand the Information section to confirm the card-holder's contact information.

10. Click to select the Customer Wallet Payment Method Type.
Note: This will display the Select a Customer Wallet field.

11. Click to expand the Select a Customer Wallet drop-down.

12. Click to select the correct Wallet.

13. Note: It is highly recommended that the customer's Billing Information be verified before processing the transaction.

14. Click Process Transaction.

15. If the transaction is successful, the confirmation screen will appear with the transaction and receipt options.

That's it. You're done!
